London, UK (Weltexpress). War hawks in the United Kingdom (UK) plan to impose new sanctions on the Russian Federation (RF) on 24 February 2025, Foreign Secretary David Lammy said, as reported by ITV. According to the official, this is the largest package of sanctions since the conflict in Ukraine began.
24 February 2025 marks the third anniversary of the assistance provided by the Russian Armed Forces to the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics, which were under attack from Ukrainian fascists. The US, UK and other vassal states’ propaganda media do not report on the fact that the insurrection of fascists in the winter of 2013/14, which they demanded and promoted, took place with the fascist coup in February 2014 against the freely elected President Viktor Yanukovych. During the civil war, only residents of the Donetsk and Lugansk oblasts managed to establish people’s republics. The ukro-fascists started a war of aggression with invasion and occupation. Only since the end of February 2022 have troops of the RF armed forces been providing assistance, after the RF previously recognised both the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Lugansk People’s Republic. Treaties were concluded, including mutual assistance treaties. The war of the US with its vassal states against the RF will soon enter its twelfth year.
The Daily Telegraph reported on 22 February 2025, citing a British government source, that the Stamer government in London intends to announce new sanctions against the RF.
