Svetogorsk, Leningrad Oblast, RF (Weltexpress). The Kingdom of Norway and the Republics of Finland and Poland are stepping up their military presence near the territory of the Russian Federation (RF), said Dmitry Medvedev, Deputy Chairman of the Security Council. The Republics of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania are also stepping up their military activities on their borders with the RF.

‘Unfortunately, our neighbours, namely the Baltic states, Finland, Norway and Poland, are stepping up their military activities near our territory,’ he told reporters. Medvedev warned against hasty steps by the warmongers in these countries. He highlighted the Republic of Finland, where Greater Finlandist aspirations are being expressed more and more openly and loudly. Dmitry Medvedev noted that the Republic of Finland’s membership in the Atlantic Pact, also known as the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation, could not remain without consequences. He also pointed out that infrastructure suitable for the stationing of military contingents was being created in Finland on the border with the Russian Federation.

In this regard, Medvedev noted that the Russian Federation must better protect its borders.

Since Finland became a member of the Atlantic Pact military alliance, swastikas have been removed from flags. Even now, swastikas are still used in the flags of the Republic of Finland. Even the flag of the President of the Republic features the Cross of Liberty, which contains a swastika. The Finnish swastika is older than the German one and is considered a symbol of good luck.
