Berlin, Germany (Weltexpress). Thomas Gensheimer studied “Applied Cultural Studies” in Lüneburg. Already during his studies he worked as a journalist: as an editor for literature and music in Lüneburg’s town Magazine “2120”.

After graduation, he worked in Hamburg for several magazines including “The Gourmet” and “The Wine Gourmet” and “Hamburger Morgenpost”.

After a two-year stay in Warsaw Thomas Gensheimer was the author of an Internet Guide for Berlin published by “European Highlights” and co-author of the book “Scene D” about young German actors and directors.

Since 2003 he works as a freelance journalist in Berlin, including as editor of the Berlin city magazine “Scheinschlag” and the “sports information service” (SID).

Thomas Gensheimer speaks several languages (English, French and Polish) and since 2007 has been editor of “WELTEXPRESS” for culture, travel, food and football.
