Ankara, Republic of Turkey (Weltexpress). Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan wants Israel prosecuted in international courts for the humanitarian and environmental disaster it has caused in the Gaza Strip.

“Israel continues attacking Palestine and Lebanon. It continues killing people, committing large-scale environmental crimes. Chemicals which have penetrated the soil are already having an impact on the future of children in Gaza. We demand that those responsible for the large-scale humanitarian and environmental catastrophe in Gaza be held accountable through international courts,” the TRT Haber television channel quoted him as saying at the UN Climate Change Conference (COP 29) in Baku.
