Berlin, Germany (Weltexpress). Guide Michelin hosted an exquisite event in Berlin’s Motorwerk where more than 40 new star restaurants were acknowledged. Berlin, for example – has five two-star restaurants and 17 one-star restaurants to choose from. The Michelin-Berlin Gala pointed out that more younger chefs are coming on-board with fresh trends and products.

Back to the Gala – several hundred participated in an exciting dining event with a live band and excellent wine, most notably Martin Hartweg’s (Vini del Mondo) 2016 King Magno Rosso. After delectable choices – Flying Amuse Bouche, Trüffel, vegetarian alternatives, Kabeljau – Muschel Beurre Blanc and Rinderbacke it was time to move the dessert (Pfirsich Melba from Konditoren-Weltmeister Bernd Siefert) closer to the dance floor.
