Rome, Republic of Italy (Weltexpress). The government of the Jewish state of Israel, which is also an invading state, occupying state, settler state, war state, terrorist state and apartheid state, is using hunger as a weapon. Robert Francis Prevost, under his pseudonym Leo XIV and in his capacity as Bishop of Rome/Pope, spoke out against this without naming Jews.
The use of hunger as a method of warfare is inhumane and cannot be tolerated, Prevost said in a message to the 44th session of the Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations (UN) at its headquarters in Rome. ‘We are today witnessing the inhumane use of hunger as a weapon of war, which deeply saddens us. Starving the civilian population is a very cheap way to wage war,’ said Prevpst, who also targeted water supplies and communication networks as the means used by warmongers and perpetrators of genocide, who should be punished for their actions.
‘We must therefore put aside meaningless rhetoric and iron out our differences with firm political will, as Pope Francis would say, in order to finally create an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual trust and achieve common goals,’ Prevost emphasised. By Pope Francis, he meant his predecessor in office, Jorge Mario Bergoglio. Bergoglio called hunger ‘the greatest scandal of our time.’
Prevost said: ‘The key to overcoming hunger lies in sharing, not in greedily hoarding for oneself. And that is what we have probably forgotten today – although some important steps have been taken, global food security is deteriorating and the scenario of achieving zero hunger by 2030 seems increasingly unlikely.’
The Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations is the highest collegial governing body of this event. Its task is to set policy and approve the organisation’s budget and programmes. The humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip has been described as catastrophic since tensions flared in the Middle East and the State of Israel began its war against the Gaza Strip. The claim that the Gaza Strip is an enclave is false. The Gaza Strip borders the Arab Republic of Egypt.
The Arab Republic of Egypt is participating in its own way in the war waged by the State of Israel against the Gaza Strip in general and in the use of hunger as a weapon in particular.
