Did hurricane “Helene” shatter Kamala’s presidential dream?

Berlin, FRG (Weltexpress). Kamala Harris showed herself to be completely insensitive to the hurricane victims and repeatedly caused the anger of the people to boil over. Especially when it turned out that the reserves for disaster relief had already been spent on housing illegal immigrants, which is why the American “Helenevictims are now going away empty-handed.

After Hurricane “Helen” with its widespread severe destruction and considerable loss of life, an even stronger hurricane of the highest category 5 is threatening just a few days later. Named “Milton”, this mega storm with wind speeds of up to 300 km/h is expected to hit the southern east coast of the USA on Wednesday. The failure of the already hopelessly overstretched US rescue services will become even more apparent than with “Helen”. And the anger in the abandoned population towards President Biden and presidential candidate Kamala Harris will rise even further.

Biden, and Kamala in particular, are responsible for the fact that the money earmarked for FEMA disaster relief has been misappropriated and spent in full on housing and feeding illegal immigrants. And now, when there is great need in the country because of “Helene” and Milton will bring even more suffering, Biden and Kamala have no more money to help the native population.

All Kamala was able to offer the “Helene” victims as emergency aid was 20 million dollars. That’s like throwing a straw to a drowning man and encouraging him that the straw will keep him afloat. The people affected in the disaster areas rightly see this as a mockery.

Hurricane Helene hit the US coastal areas with sustained winds of more than 130 miles (approx. 209 km) per hour, causing severe flooding, power outages and the collapse of regional infrastructure. According to initial counts, over 10,000 houses were severely damaged or destroyed. Tens of thousands of people wandered around homeless in search of shelter. Important connecting roads and bridges were washed out or washed away completely, further hampering relief efforts.

Officially, 85 people have already been confirmed dead, but rescue workers have only been able to reach a fraction of the cut-off villages and settlements and estimates expect a much higher death toll. Hospitals are still overloaded days after the storm, and rescue teams are working tirelessly to find missing people and provide aid in the affected areas.

On the ground, the people affected by “Helene” have the feeling, not without good reason, that they have been left alone by the US federal government and its agencies. This is confirmed by private helpers on the ground who have traveled from outside the affected areas. The description of the situation is reminiscent of the reports from the Ahr flooding disaster four years ago, when private individuals, farmers with their tractors and building contractors with their heavy equipment spontaneously volunteered to help for days and often weeks. While there was hardly anything to be seen of the official helpers from the federal organizations.

In the alternative media in the USA, you can see how anger is literally boiling over. The accusation that the “Biden regime doesn’t give a damn” about the people there is still one of the most harmless. Others accuse “Biden and his minions” of not only neglecting their duties, but of committing “the worst betrayal of the American people since the founding of the nation.” (The Burning Platform)

The background is that on October 3, 2024, Joe Biden actually showed up in person in Georgia, one of the states affected by “Helene,” to pay sympathetic lip service to the disaster and pledge twenty million dollars in federal aid, and later (maybe) more, in the fullness of time.

This 20 million dollar aid for the American citizens in the Helene emergency area is making the rounds on the Internet in this form: Americans should take note:

– 20 million dollars for the victims of Helen;

– well over 640 million dollars for illegal immigrants; and about

– 180 billion dollars for Ukraine.

When will this bloody madness stop?

To make matters worse, all of America heard Joe Biden say that his regime had done “everything we can do” to alleviate the misery of the victims of Hurricane Helen. At the same time, Biden’s Secretary of Homeland Security, Alejandro Mayorkas, told the American people that the money for FEMA, the reserves to respond to disasters, had already been used up for this financial year. Since the fall of 2022, FEMA has spent more than 1.4 BILLION dollars under his leadership and at the direction of Biden and Kamala to provide illegal immigrants with basic necessities.

Lawyer Stephen Miller of the America First Legal organization had recently found that FEMA’s emergency food and shelter program had been redesigned to primarily serve illegal immigrants apprehended by the Border Patrol and ICE on the U.S. southern border, even though the FEMA money was intended only for U.S. citizens. In one post, Miller claims that $685 million of U.S. taxpayer dollars were diverted to support illegal immigrants. In fact, FEMA admits on its own website admits to having spent 640 million dollars on the “arrival of non-citizen migrants”.

As if in mockery, Kamala recently declared that FEMA would distribute the handsome sum of 750,00 dollars to all those who urgently needed help in the areas devastated by “Helen” in the US states of Florida, North Carolina, Tennessee and Georgia. And to add insult to injury, after this generous announcement of aid, Vice President Kamala flew to L.A. to party with Hollywood stars and collect campaign donations.

US presidential candidate Kamala Harris will not be able to make up for this massive loss of standing with ordinary people in the next four weeks until the election. She can’t giggle that much to distract from it. Initial poll results show her popularity ratings in free fall.
