Berlin, Germany (Weltexpress). The fact that the overthrow of the Assad government and the Baath Party was ordered by then US President Barack Obama, who was at the time waging war, to the US foreign intelligence service, abbreviated to CIA in English, was recently stated by US economist Jeffrey Sachs in a TV interview with US journalist Tucker Carlson.
He recalled in the interview that US General Wesley Clark, who once gave orders to the vassal troops in the Atlantic Pact war alliance, ‘came to the Pentagon shortly after 11 September 2001 and was shown a piece of paper that said, “We will have seven wars in five years”. Sachs continues: ‘He was completely dumbfounded and said, “What does it all mean?”
He was told that the neoconservatives and the Israelis were going to remake the Middle East.
And the seven countries on the list were very revealing. They were Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran. And in Africa, [they were] Libya, Somalia, Sudan. Seven countries, and we were at war in six of them. And by ‘we’, I mean the United States on behalf of Israel, including in Syria.’
Sachs continues: ‘What happened in Syria last week was the culmination of a long-term Israeli effort to reshape the Middle East,’ Sachs continued, underlining, ‘But what really brought down [Bashar al-] Assad last week began in 2011 under Obama.’
In other words, ‘It doesn’t matter who is president. It’s about this long-term policy of the Deep State,’ Sachs shared, adding when asked why: ‘Because Israel has been determining US foreign policy in the Middle East for 30 years. That’s how it works…’
Six of these seven wars have been waged. Sachs: ‘The only one [war] that has not yet taken place is the one with Iran. And if you follow the mainstream media every day, you can see that they are pushing for a war between the US and Iran. [Benjamin] Netanyahu is pushing for a war with Iran. They are really trying to get things moving to turn seven [wars] into seven.’
