According to the report, the administration of President Donald Trump has committed to spending the $400 million allocated for military aid to Ukraine before the end of the current fiscal year, which ends in the country on September 30.
The story says this military aid is to be sent to Kiev by October 2029 and will consist of weapons, including parts for armored vehicles. A source said that “the military equipment did not include Patriot missiles” requested by Ukraine.
In July, the agency reported that the Washington administration notified Congress of its intention to complete the transfer of $400 million in military aid approved by lawmakers to Kiev no earlier than between the beginning of October 2028 and the end of September 2029.
